Eligibility for Joining the Postgraduate Nutritional Therapy Courses
BSc Hons Nutritional Therapy or equivalent (direct entry)
First Science or Health Science degree or equivalent (Fast Track)
Diploma in Nutritional Therapy with more than 1 year of clinical experience (Fast Track)
Fast Track
Fast Track means that you may need to take some of our first and second year undergraduate modules in order to join the postgraduate course. This is a good opportunity if you are a First Science degree holders as you can work through these modules in your own time at half the normal undergraduate module fee (except for modules that require attendance). The modules are not examined as you will already have demonstrated that you can pass science examinations at undergraduate level.
You will also complete a Practitioner Development course which is a synthesis of Clinical Training and Business Skills from the undergraduate nutritional therapy course. Depending on your prior experience you may be eligible for part exemption from this course.
The postgraduate course also provides a good opportunity for Diploma graduates of nutritional therapy to upgrade to a Masters and bypass an undergraduate degree. Many Diploma graduates have considerable experience and this route is ideal.
If you have a higher science degree then you can opt to Fast Track year 1 and 2 of the undergraduate course and then take the final year of the undergraduate course. You will not necessarily be looking for a higher degree and you can always take the postgraduate modules at a later date for continuing professional development.

We submitted our evidence to the Nutritional Therapy Council for accreditation of our nutritional therapy courses. This option has been approved for route C registration.
