Examination: 30 minutes Multiple Choice

Entry Requirements: 5 GCSE's at grades A*-C (preferably to incude English Language, a science subject and/or GCSE in Physical Education. Exemptions may be made for adult returners with experience in the workplace. Applicants must be practising as a Complementary Therapist with insurance and registered with a relevant Professional Body. Applicants can register on the course following a personal or telephone interview.

Course Length: 18 weeks Tuesday evenings

The ITEC level 3 diploma in Diet and Nutrition is aimed at complementary therapists who would like to add nutrition into their remit. This short course is also ideal for Complementary Therapists that want to find out if they want to pursue nutritional therapy as a career.

The main aim of the course is to enable you to provide healthy eating advice for your clients, whom you already treat with another therapy, for the purpose of improving health and lifestyle. The course culminates in an exam and 5 case studies under the supervision of the tutor.
